Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.34%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals , Multi Investment and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.34%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE: 4210 ), which rose 9.62% or 5.10 points to trade at 58.10 at the close. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE: 4270 ) added 8.88% or 1.54 points to end at 18.88 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8311 ) was up 4.29% or 0.70 points to 17.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE: 1214 ), which lost 6.42% or 0.88 points to trade at 12.82 in late trade. The National Shipping Co. (SE: 4030 ) declined 5.58% or 1.95 points to end at 33.00 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE: 1304 ) shed 4.90% or 1.30 points to 25.25.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 54 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.07% or 0.96 to $47.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.89% or 0.92 to hit $49.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.93 to trade at $1252.37 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.54% to 4.3897, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 93.50.
