Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Retail, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.63% or 1.30 points to trade at 14.80 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 8.47% or 0.250 points to end at 3.200 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was up 8.00% or 3.00 points to 40.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which lost 3.80% or 0.75 points to trade at 19.00 in late trade. Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) declined 2.90% or 1.10 points to end at 36.80 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) shed 2.87% or 0.90 points to 30.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 61 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.21% or 0.11 to $52.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.54% or 0.30 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 10.55 to trade at $1206.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.58% to 4.0343, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 99.98.
