Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.52%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism , Media & Publishing and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.52%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE: 6040 ), which rose 5.09% or 0.55 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE: 4050 ) added 3.55% or 0.55 points to end at 16.05 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE: 2180 ) was up 2.88% or 1.10 points to 39.30 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 4.78% or 0.55 points to trade at 10.95 in late trade. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE: 8160 ) declined 4.71% or 0.45 points to end at 9.10 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8050 ) shed 4.32% or 0.60 points to 13.30.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 120 to 31 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.93% or 0.46 to $50.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.90% or 0.45 to hit $50.19 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.57% or 7.00 to trade at $1230.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 4.1800, while USD/SAR fell 0.59% to 3.7284.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 94.97.
