Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.68%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Multi Investment , Hotels & Tourism and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.68% to hit a new 3-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE: 4003 ), which rose 10.07% or 2.90 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Al Hammadi Co (SE: 4007 ) added 3.61% or 1.20 points to end at 34.40 and Alujain Corporation (SE: 2170 ) was up 2.36% or 0.45 points to 19.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE: 2030 ), which lost 10.08% or 3.90 points to trade at 34.80 in late trade. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ) declined 7.57% or 0.95 points to end at 11.60 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE: 4200 ) shed 7.41% or 2.20 points to 27.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 137 to 24 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $48.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $51.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.05 to trade at $1204.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 3.9983, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.20.
