Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.88%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT , Industrial Investment and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.88%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE: 4240 ), which rose 10.00% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.20 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8060 ) added 4.01% or 1.10 points to end at 28.50 and Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE: 4320 ) was up 3.53% or 0.70 points to 20.55 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 4.71% or 0.95 points to trade at 19.20 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE: 4200 ) declined 3.31% or 0.90 points to end at 26.30 and National Industrialization Co (SE: 2060 ) shed 3.26% or 0.55 points to 16.30.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 120 to 37 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.28% or 0.14 to $49.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $52.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 9.18 to trade at $1268.32 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.0850, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.90.
