Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.96%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance , Retail and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.96%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anaam International Holding Group (SE: 4061 ), which rose 4.01% or 0.75 points to trade at 19.45 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE: 7040 ) added 2.82% or 0.100 points to end at 3.650 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE: 8070 ) was up 2.68% or 1.50 points to 57.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE: 8140 ), which lost 9.87% or 0.75 points to trade at 6.85 in late trade. Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE: 8012 ) declined 5.76% or 1.90 points to end at 31.10 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE: 8270 ) shed 5.59% or 1.80 points to 30.40.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 145 to 11 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.63% or 0.34 to $54.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.82% or 0.46 to hit $56.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1238.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 3.9814, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 100.87.
