Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.97%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Multi Investment , Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.97% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE: 7040 ), which rose 9.38% or 0.750 points to trade at 8.750 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE: 8030 ) added 3.02% or 0.65 points to end at 22.15 and Nama Chemicals Co. (SE: 2210 ) was up 1.41% or 0.05 points to 3.60 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE: 2240 ), which lost 4.62% or 1.40 points to trade at 28.90 in late trade. Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE: 2350 ) declined 3.95% or 0.35 points to end at 8.50 and Anaam International Holding Group (SE: 4061 ) shed 3.71% or 0.65 points to 16.85.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 152 to 19 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.17% or 0.99 to $46.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.17% or 1.05 to hit $49.43 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.41 to trade at $1229.01 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.1254, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 98.42.
