Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.01%
Credit: © Reuters. – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport , Financial Services and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.01%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE: 2040 ), which rose 6.69% or 1.90 points to trade at 30.30 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE: 4070 ) added 6.32% or 2.78 points to end at 46.80 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE: 5110 ) was up 2.50% or 0.60 points to 24.60 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8310 ), which lost 5.75% or 1.15 points to trade at 18.85 in late trade. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE: 8150 ) declined 4.89% or 0.75 points to end at 14.60 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE: 8060 ) shed 3.89% or 1.10 points to 27.20.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 144 to 20 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $53.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.64 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 11.55 to trade at $1289.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 3.9830, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 100.49.
