Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.89%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport , Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.89%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE: 8020 ), which rose 6.34% or 0.65 points to trade at 10.90 at the close. Umm Al-Qura (SE: 3005 ) added 3.68% or 0.70 points to end at 19.70 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE: 2270 ) was up 2.23% or 3.00 points to 137.50 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE: 4110 ), which lost 5.73% or 3.25 points to trade at 53.50 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE: 4140 ) declined 5.07% or 1.80 points to end at 33.70 and The National Shipping Co. (SE: 4030 ) shed 5.07% or 1.80 points to 33.70.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 155 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $43.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.22% or 0.57 to hit $46.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.75 to trade at $1313.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.80% to 4.1849, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7516.

The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 96.06.
