Sweden shares higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.37%

Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.37%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ), which rose 1.36% or 1.32 points to trade at 98.62 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ) added 1.27% or 1.5 points to end at 122.8 and Sandvik AB (ST: SAND ) was up 1.26% or 1.90 points to 153.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST: ALIVsdb ), which lost 1.26% or 9.8 points to trade at 768.2 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ) declined 1.06% or 0.83 points to end at 77.69 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) shed 0.95% or 5.0 points to 522.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 328 to 296 and 61 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.37% or 0.25 to $67.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.26% or 0.20 to hit $77.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1201.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 10.4908, while USD/SEK fell 0.16% to 9.0432.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.08.
