Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.33% or 2.7 points to trade at 205.8 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 0.60% or 0.6 points to end at 94.3 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 0.28% or 0.4 points to 128.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 2.10% or 5.50 points to trade at 256.55 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.41% or 4.1 points to end at 286.0 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 1.14% or 0.47 points to 40.84.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 394 to 241 and 48 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.19% or 0.13 to $67.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.30% or 0.22 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.50 to trade at $1203.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.37% to 10.3637, while USD/SEK rose 0.21% to 9.1358.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 96.53.
