TE Connectivity Earnings beat, Revenue misses In Q1

Investing.com - TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL ) reported first quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Wednesday and revenue that fell short of forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.29 on revenue of $3.35B. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.28 on revenue of $3.39B. That compared to EPS of $1.4 on revenue of $3.48B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.35 on revenue of $3.51B in the previous quarter.

For the year, TE Connectivity shares are up 5.09%, under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 6.7% year to date.
