VeriSign Earnings miss, Revenue beats In Q4

Investing.com - VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN ) reported on Thursday fourth quarter earnings that missed analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

VeriSign announced earnings per share of $1.27 on revenue of $320.3M (NYSE: MMM ). Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $1.35 on revenue of $319.07M.

VeriSign shares are down 5% from the beginning of the year and are trading at $208.11 , down-from-52-week-high.They are under-performing the Nasdaq which is up 8.83% from the start of the year.

VeriSign shares gained 1.76% in after-hours trade the report.
