For the year ended 30 June 2023, normalised operating profit increased by 24% to R11.6 billion and normalised headline earnings increased by 32% to R7.6 billion. Core new business annualised premium income was up 12%1 to R22.7 billion, with particularly strong growth from the SA and UK composites. Persistency continued to exceed expectations in all businesses.
