Using the stock screener is simple. You can start by choosing predefined screens like "Talk of the Town" "High Beta Bulls" "Cash is King" or "Piotroski's Picks" These screens have pre-set filters to help you quickly find stocks of interest. For more advanced users who want to refine their search further, you can select your own filters, such as market cap, industry, or financial ratios, to match your specific investment criteria. Apply the filters to generate a list of stocks that meet your criteria. You can sort and analyse the results using different views to make informed investment decisions.
How can I save my own custom screens?
After creating a custom screen, click the "Save" button. You will be prompted to name your screen for easy reference. Saved screens can be accessed anytime from the "My Screens" button, which is located on the stock screener page next to the save button.
How can I add a stock from the screen results to my watchlist?
To add a stock to your watchlist, click on the checkbox next to the stock ticker from the screening results, and then click the "Add to Watchlist'' button. If you have more than one watchlist, you will need to choose the relevant watchlist to add the stock to. Your watchlist can be accessed anytime through our website or app by navigating to the "Watchlist" section.
What does every filter mean? Is there a place I can see each filter definition?
Each filter in the stock screener has a tooltip explanation. Hover over the filter name with your mouse to see a brief definition of what the filter represents.
Why can’t I see local stocks from my country when choosing a predefined screen?
If you can't see local stocks from your country when choosing a predefined screen, it's likely because the criteria set in the predefined screen do not result in enough stocks from your local market. In such cases, we expand the search to include other markets to provide you with more investment options. You can always adjust the criteria yourself to focus on finding relevant stocks in your country.
Why are some filters locked?
Some filters are designated as premium features and require a Pro+ subscription to access. These filters provide advanced screening capabilities and data insights.
How do I subscribe in order to see the premium filters on my account?
To access premium filters, you can subscribe to our InvestingPro service. Visit our InvestingPro page or click on any locked filter, which will prompt you to upgrade your subscription to Pro+ plan.
What do “Views” refer to on the stock screen results?
“Views” refer to different ways of displaying the screening results. For example, you can view stocks based on fundamentals, technicals, valuation, or custom metrics. Each view highlights different aspects of the stock data to help you analyse and compare results effectively.

How do I export my stock screener results to a CSV file?
You can export the results of your stock screener by clicking the "Download" button. Choose the CSV format and download the file to your device.
How can I download all data if I have more than 100 lines?
Our data providers do not allow exports on such a large scale. To download your data, please narrow down your results to fewer than 100 lines and then export.
What markets are covered with the stock screener?
The stock screener covers over 160,000 stocks from global markets, including North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. We aim to provide comprehensive coverage across major and emerging markets, covering 99% of the world's market capital.
How frequently is the data on the stock screener updated? Specifically after earning reports?
The data on the stock screener is updated constantly. Earnings report data is reflected as soon as we receive it from our data providers. High-priority companies (approximately 15,000) will have updates within 24-48 hours, while others may take up to a week.
Do the screener results also take into account premarket and after-market data?
Currently, the screener does not account for premarket and after-market data. However, this feature is on our roadmap and will be available in future updates.
Can I share my custom screens with others?
Yes, you can share your custom screens with others. Every change you make on the stock screener is reflected in the URL. Simply share the URL with anyone you wish, and they will be able to view your custom screen.
What does the Primary Listing toggle mean?
A company may have its stock listed on numerous stock exchanges around the world. The primary listing is typically the most prominent exchange and often the first exchange where the stock was listed. Secondary listings, on the other hand, are additional listings that make it more convenient for local investors to buy and sell the stock without converting currency. The unique but secondary listings may cause you to see the same company listed multiple times in your results. To remove these secondary listings, you can use the “Primary Listing” toggle. When this filter is active only the primary stock listing of a company is included in the results, eliminating duplicates from secondary exchanges.
How can I change the currency of stock prices?
The prices displayed are attached to the currency in which the stock is traded. To view stocks in a different currency, change the country in the screener dropdown to see stocks listed in the corresponding local currency.
How can I set a stock price alert for a stock in the screener results?
To set a stock price alert, click on the checkbox next to the stock ticker from the screening results and select "Set Alert." Define the criteria for the alert, such as price threshold, percentage change, volume, or earnings. You can also choose the frequency of the alerts. Save your settings, and you will receive notifications based on your alert preferences.
