The company operates through four segments: Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, and Treasury. It offers current and savings accounts, fixed deposit accounts, and certificates of deposit; personal, car, and home loans; corporate loans; trade finance; commercial loans; overdraft and revolving products, letters of guarantee, letters of credit, bills for collection, and discounted promissory notes; working capital loans; and structured finance services. The company also provides brokerage services; asset management services, such as portfolio management, investment advisory, external asset manager model, structured deposits, investment funds, and Sharia compliant products; treasury management, and remittance and bill payment services; correspondent banking services for financial institutions; debit and credit cards; online and mobile banking services; and ATM facilities and SMS banking services. In addition, it provides services relating to privatizations, IPOs, and mergers and acquisitions; foreign exchange operations; and money market and trading services. Capital Bank of Jordan was incorporated in 1995 and is based in Amman, Jordan.
