It offers mobile, balance, fixed voice, fixed broadband, international and roaming, entertainment services, mobile number portability, and other services for individuals; and devices, such as routers, fixed landline phones, USB modems, 4G routers, mobile phones, and accessories. The company also provides mobile services; data and connectivity; voice services; hosting and data center; managed ICT services; and wholesale services for businesses. In addition, it owns, operates, maintains, and develops voice, video, and written data transmission telecommunication networks and infrastructure; offers voice, video, and data transmission telecommunication services to subscribers, as well as value-added services, content services, marketing, electronic signature, and online money transfer; operates communication systems, such as submarine cables, satellites, and circuits; and purchases, sells, and distributes fixed line sets, computers and its peripherals, and spare parts. The company was formerly known as Arab Republic of Egypt National Telecommunications Organization and changed its name to Telecom Egypt Company in March 1998. Telecom Egypt Company was founded in 1854 and is headquartered in Giza, Egypt.
